Pretty much two years have gone since we started talking about making this film, so it's probably time to get this blog up and running! With the blog live and as the film reaches completion (And the end is finally in sight!), we can start publicising events in and around what's happening next.
The title of this post is 'Where we're at...' so I'd better start by giving a brief summary of where we are at!
All filming was finished back in the summer of 2018. Since then we've been working slowly on post production. The film has now been edited brilliantly by Sofia Nordin and comes in at 60 minutes. Blowing one's own trumpet is always a terrible thing to do. but the film looks good! Really good! And it's very funny too. Even though I've watched it countless times, there are still scenes that really make me laugh out loud.
With the picture locked, the film is now at the grader/colourist Mile Lembke and the sound mixer/post production guy Tomas Birnik, both of whom are bring more life and dynamism to the picture and the relationship between the soundscape and the original soundtrack by John och Julius.
After that it's a question of putting the two together, adding graphics and subtitles and we've got ourselves a film!
